lil has successfully chewed up my favorite comforter (the one that is velvet on the inside and satin on the outside) and my fav pair of kicks ( my pink and white slip-on nikes that have no backs) this week. the conforter died last night as i slept inches away from her and the shoes kicked it one morning this week when i was in the shower. i guess i’ll just give up bathing and sleeping and doing anything that requires i’m out of her site. j/k. maybe. i can’t wait for dog schoool to start.

so i introduced lily to my sister’s dog cole and let’s just say they are in luv. i’ve never seen lily so excited and happy. she just couldn’t get enough of playing with him. it’s hilarous to see my 30 lb puppy rough house with robyn’s 105 lb black lab/bluetick coonhound mix. the best form of entertainment i have had in a while. lily can just be standing there and cole can jump over without any effort. cole was infatuated as well. lilly’s such a flirt with him. she runs up jumps up and slaps him and then runs away and crouches down like “u gonna come and chase me or what?”. just like her mom - she’s a tease. and she goes for older men. cole is 4 yrs old as compared to her meer 8 months. that’s like a 22.75 year difference in dog years. she’s crazy. i think i’m no longer the apple in lilly’s eye. i’ve clearly been replaced in her number one slot by a big dog who lieks to slobber. let’s just hope i can control the two lovebirds next month when i dogsit cole for a week while robyn and ron vacation with the folks.

so babygirl and i are fighting right now for the title of alpha dog. i think she feels that she needs to step up to the role of alpha dog b/c i am clearly the weaker or shall i say slower one. when we go outside, she just looks back at me like, “is this really as fast as you can go?” i would luv to find someone with a speed gun and time her running. she’s incredibly fast and i pray that she never gets loose. there’s no way in hell, i will ever be able to catch up with her.
o well her reign as queen will not last long, we are starting dog school on sunday.

in case you were curious, babygirl can chew through a leather leash in 1.5 minutes if bored. as she did tonight while i was showing to my dad how to redeem his gift card in itunes. she maybe little, but she’s got some teeth on her.

average chewtime for a 5-inch rawhide bone - 2.5 days. and she only weighs 25 - 30 lbs. crazy.

we have a puppy back in the house again. after sadly giving c-dog up to a better home where she wouldn’t have to constantly protect me from everything in the entire world including from my roommates. my father found me a precious and i mean precious 6 month old puppy from someone he works with. because she is so sweet, innocent, pure and somewhat shy, i have named her lilly. we have also been anming her babygirl round the house. everyday is exciting with her. since up until now she lived in the country part of loveland with only one female owner and a 7 husky to keep her company, everything is strange and exciting and scary at the same time. she’s awesome though. she keeps me on my toes. when we go out to walk let’s just say her slow pace is my fast powerwalking like pace. and i think i walk pretty fast due to the past 25 years of trying to keep up with my older sister with long legs. it doesn’t matter if it’s 5:30 in the morning or 11:00 at night and i’m in my pj’s or if i’m in a dress and heels, according to lilly if we go out - we run. don’t get me wrong - she’s not dragging me down the street. when slow old me gets tired she lets me slow it down to a quick walk but as soon as she feels me meeting her pace she kicks it right back up. the only other real big thing bout lilly is that until last week, she ahd neever seen a man before, so she is still kinda hesitant with the boys. boys are real scary ya know. anyhow i plan on socializing with the opposite sex and i think she’ll be fine. here are some pics the foster mom gave me. haven’t had time to upload mine yet.
